Providing the Finest In-Home Companion Care Services

Caring for aging parents and loved ones can be a challenge, especially while working to maintain your own family and work responsibilities.  Although living independently, you still worry about your loved ones and their ability to accomplish basic daily activities.

Although your personal and family obligations may prevent you from being directly engaged in the daily activities of your loved ones, it doesn’t mean you can’t ensure their safety while finding peace of mind in knowing someone experienced and responsible is available and present. Helping Hands Services is proud to provide caring services when you are unable to be present.

Helping Hands is proud to employ professional and compassionate in-home caregivers.

Did You Know?

  • Over 90% of seniors want to remain in their own home for as long as possible. They want to maintain their independence, be surrounded by familiarity and sentimental possessions.

  •  45% of family members who serve as caregivers to loved ones are seniors themselves.  Such responsibilities can prove taxing on caregivers and further warrants the need for third party assistance.

  • Barring illness or injury, the greatest challenge seniors face in being able to remain at home versus having to transition to formal facility care is the ability to accomplish common daily tasks.

  • The investment in necessary residential companion care services for loved ones to remain at home can be as low as 25% of the cost of traditional facility care.

What is Companion Care Services?

"Companion Care" is actually the most affordable, yet, most frequently overlooked service in the home care industry that can literally be the difference between your loved ones remaining in their own home, a more comfortable and a familiar environment, versus having to transition to much more expensive formal facility care.

Companion Care does not include medical or skilled-care assistance.  Rather, it focuses on the often overlooked, yet, equally important activities of daily living (ADLs), eating, dressing, mobility, household chores, personal errands, and other tasks frequently not considered or even taken for granted when considering care for loved ones.

What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?

Unlike emergency services, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services does not require any life saving skills or equipment.  NEMT typically includes senior transportation and those with temporary or permanent disabilities requiring assisted ambulatory, wheelchair or stretcher/gurney transportation.

Helping Hands drivers and staff are well trained on how to properly assist area seniors.
Helping Hands is please to provide assisted non-emergency medical transportation to area seniors.
